yoummee uses the bare minimum of browser storage required to function. We don't track you across the web and we don't run third-party analytics.

No trackers, no ads, no analytics

We do not embed Google Analytics, Facebook Pixel, advertising SDKs or any other third-party tracking. We do not profile you.

What we do use

Only essential storage, which does not require consent under EU ePrivacy rules because it is strictly necessary to provide the service you asked for:

  • Session cookie — keeps you signed in after login. Set by our login system, running on our own server — not a third party.
  • Theme & language (localStorage) — remembers your dark/light theme and language so the app doesn't flash on every load.
  • Encrypted identity key (IndexedDB) — your end-to-end encryption key, stored locally so messages can be decrypted in your browser.

Push notifications

If you opt in to push notifications, your browser's push service stores a subscription endpoint. You can revoke it at any time from your browser settings or from the app's Settings page.

Clearing your data

Clearing site data in your browser will sign you out and remove local keys. Deleting your account removes everything from the server as well.
